My frend Lilian just arrived from Sao Paulo (Brazil) for a week - then she is off to Grenoble and then back again for another week in London with us.
Plans so far are travelling to Liverpool next Friday and going around the city before that. Our friend Roberto is coming from Rome on Monday to join the gang.
Hopefully loads of photos to come very soon.

Trilu Lilu
We are back! It was a wonderful week in Romania, between Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare. Loved everything - even the cold. In fact is wasn't extremely cold, it can always get worse. I have photos on my computer but I'm using Cipri's new laptop now.
It was a great trip, because I've finally met Cipri's tati & mami (and grandpa too, so cute). Really cool that they are learning English - now I think I have to learn Romanian. I bet 6 months in the country would do some good in this aspect. I've also met other "virtual" folks: Iona & George and Carmen & Ake. And because I always read their blogs (when they update them) it was like I knew them already.
I can't really pick one favourite thing from the trip, but I have to say that the snow in the mountains - event though I was told it wasn't at its best - was so gorgeous that I want to go back again and again and again. Nature is not one of England's strengths (Although it is impressive in Scotland) so I kind of miss it. If everything goes according to plans, we might go back in September to a trip to Danube's delta.
Now, back home, I'm on a diet. Ate so much that I'm still feeling very full.

Get rid of the trash
We've been postponing a garage 'sale' since we've moved to this house. We had 4-5 big bags to donate to charity, but we couldn't take the time to take the stuff to the shop. This morning I left three bags there. Yey! Just a huge bag to go.
I love getting rid of things. Old clothes, old shoes, old equipments, old stuff.

I'm such a looser...
I simply can get organised to go to the gym. I keep missing all classes because 7pm is just not doable, but also I don't have the energy to just go and do whatever I can. I'm always complaining that I am overweight, that I feel tired all the time, that I'm in pain...
But I have a plan for 2009! Wait and see.

Fobia
I'm a very stressed, insecure, scared person. Very. I'm already panicking because tomorrow I'll have to drive a long way to two meetings. Everybody knows that I don't like driving. I don't like driving and I'm scared to death of driving. Scared of crashing the car (or scratching it), of killing (or just hurting) somebody, or killing or hurting myself.
I wonder if this horrible feeling will EVER go away. I have booked my driving test for March - I have to practice a lot until then, but most of all, I need to get rid of the fear of driving.

Shopping time
This weekend we are going with the girls for a bit of shopping. I've been having a tough time - nothing major - so I need to buy some nice stuff for me. I have this from time to time. I guess all girls have, but some control it better than others.
James Bond
We've just come back from the cinema. The new James Bond film is good - it's what you can expect from a James Bond film. I have to say I didn't like two things: the theme song (especially the OOooooOOOOOooooooOOOOOO part, it annoyed me) and the Bond girl. She is a bit rubish as an actress and as a Bond girl. Other than that, it's good.
Other films on the pipeline: Madagascar 2, The day the Earth stopped/exploded/ended/whatever, Body of Lies, and... I don't know what's screening at the moment.

Busy end of year
So, working like a slave, then trip to Romania, then my friend Lilian arrives from Brazil, then Roberto is coming from Rome. Then is the New Year and life goes on.
Phew!
Phew!
Breaking news!
We have the tickets - we are going to Romania in about a week time. Going on the 19th, coming back on the 26th.
I can't even say I need to practice my Romanian, because I don't really speak anything...
I need to shop for warmer clothes.
