British people have this funny habit of nicknaming everything, like they are lazy to say the whole word or they are always talking to kids. Some of the words I came across during these three years are:
brekkie - breakfast
brollie - umbrella
jammies - pyjamas
PJs - pyjamas again
wellies - wellington boots (those plastic boots for rainy days)
pressie - present
Cutie, isn't it? Oh, and instead of saying aunt they always say auntie. Oooowwwnnnn.
